Our butchery has built a strong reputation from the quality of meat and the quality of service. The team break down and prepare all products on-site, using a local network of farmers for full provenance. At the heart of our offering is our own herd of Red Poll x Aberdeen Angus cattle; all of which comes through our butchery. Our Red Poll cows, the native Suffolk breed, have the right suckler qualities we want and the Aberdeen Angus bull helps create the perfect beef you want. The team are on hand to advise, recommend and help wherever and however possible.

Our delicatessen boasts an ever expanding product selection. We have cheeses from near and afar, delicious antipasti and an enviable range of charcuterie. Ready to eat pies, tarts, quiche and salad to name a few, are provided by Our Kitchen, operating from The Cookhouse. These are made in small, regular batches, using the best ingredients the Food Hall has to offer, by James and his team.

The Food Hall is housed in an old converted cattle barn. It aims to bring together the highest quality items, sourced as close to, if not in, Suffolk wherever possible. From cupboard staples, to something a little different and almost everything in between.

Our bakers do not actually start in the middle of the night! We want to make sure the bread and sweet treats you buy are as fresh as possible hence the bake team works in front of you through the day. All handcrafted and made with pride, be it a humble bloomer, foccacia, one of our speciality loaves, or a good old fashioned gingerbread man.

Our greengrocer works closely with as many small and some larger local growers to bring seasonal fruit and vegetables to the Food Hall. Celebrating the seasons is hugely important to us, to enjoy the best produce on offer, when it is exactly that, the best it can be. That said, our array has the must haves you would expect all year round.

We work with local suppliers to order fish regularly, making for the freshest product possible. Prepared and packaged on site, ready for you to take home with as little fuss as possible, our core range covers the things people want most. However, take advantage of our ordering service, for something a little out of the ordinary, exactly as you need it. Just call 01473 786 612

Locally grown Christmas Trees

Available from the end of November.  Everybody loves to bring the outside in, and we are no different. Our Garden team hand select and nurture our range of plants daily. We order little, often and locally to ensure healthy, seasonal plants. Find out more about our Christmas Trees or call the Home & garden team on 01473 786 617

The home department boasts a range of all things, from beautiful bespoke pieces, to a whole range of gift items for any upcoming celebration. Our buying team also track the seasons to keep things fresh and different. There is something for all ages too with a section devoted entirely to children.

Wine, Beer & Spirits

We have hand selected our favourite beers and ales from the plethora of small brewers in the local area. East Anglia is able to boast a great range of spirits and wines too, particularly a favourite tipple, gin. The local independent vineyards, such as Giffords Hall, Dedham Vale and Copdock Hall, compliment our wines from around the world.

We have a chocolate counter, full of the wonders available from one of Britain’s oldest chocolatier, Charbonnel et Walker. The counter allows the opportunity to hand select (and sample!) individual chocolates to make a box of treats of which you can enjoy each and every single one.

The Café in the Food Hall is also open for tea, coffee, cake as well as some lighter options (sample menu).

Seasonally, our Beach Hut sells fantastic ice cream using a local creamery (closed until February Half-Term).
