Come and join Popolo Ceramico for a fun filled day of painting ceramics. Choose from a wide selection of ceramic pieces from figurines to Cookie Jars. There really is something for all the family to enjoy!
All ages are welcome! The paint we use is chalk based and is toxic, dairy and allergy free so completely safe for children.
A member of the ceramic team will also be on hand to assist with taking hands and footprints.
Each piece is taken back to my studio where I individually hand glaze and kiln fire, making each piece food and dishwasher safe.

suffolk mind walk of glass and fire

Do you dare to bare… your feet?

We are challenging you to bring your mind and body together with A Walk of Glass and Fire this May.

A Walk of Glass and Fire may feel a little familiar if you saw, heard, or took part in our ‘hottest’ challenge of the year in 2023 – A Walk of Ice and Fire. Now’s your chance to take part in the 2024 edition!

So, if you are one for ‘mind over matter’ then join us to walk across broken glass and/or hot coals to raise vital funds for Suffolk Mind.

You can choose one or both walks, and there should be time to try each walk more than once.

The café will be open serving their delicious hot and cold drinks and warm snacks, including their popular ‘firecracker’ sausage roll. If the weather is kind, then the gelato hut will be open too – yum! All available for you to purchase on the night.

The course will run from 10am until 12:30pm.

This is a beginners course for adults wanting to get really hands on with woodwork and other crafts in a completely new way. No prior experience or knowledge of working with wood necessary. Attend on your own or with a friend or family member. Come away with an exciting creation and an experience you will be talking about for years to come.

What’s involved?
There is minimal demonstrating from us during this workshop. Our goal is to get you involved and steam bending within a very short time of arriving. The short course will be spent creating your own stylish wooden planter. You will have the creative freedom to make the piece you are working on unique to you through the numerous finishing options available on the day.

Who is running it?
Madeleine and Myles are multi award winning designers and who have been running a successful business specialising in steam bending since 2012. Madeleine is also a qualified teacher, and their combined skills make this workshop educational, engaging and fulfilling. They enjoy passing on their skills and passion through their workshops.
