Designed for bringing people together comfortably, The Restaurant offers a warm, light-filled space with far-reaching views across the River Orwell and the Suffolk countryside. It’s a venue where guests feel at ease and naturally settle in, allowing the occasion – whatever it may be – to take centre stage.

With capacity for up to 130 guests, the space works beautifully for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. Our dedicated team will work closely with you from the outset, helping to shape everything from the arrangement of the space to the timings of the food and drink.

Our menus are built around fresh, local produce and can be tailored to align with the atmosphere of your event – from relaxed buffet dining to more formal lunches and dinners. Personal flowers, styling and decorative touches are warmly encouraged for private events – although we do politely ask that confetti stays at home.

With panoramic views across the river and a calm, private atmosphere, The Restaurant offers a gentle setting where family and friends can come together comfortably to share memories, reflect and take comfort in each other’s company. We understand that occasions such as these require a more thoughtful approach and our team will support the day with warmth, sensitivity and quiet attention to detail.

The Restaurant is available for private hire for wakes and celebrations of life, with three menu options available and pricing based on minimum guest numbers and a four-and-a-half hour hire period.

The space is equipped with presentation facilities including a TV, projector and quality sound system.
