Our bakers work through the day rather than the night, so when you arrive the ovens are already busy and the shelves are at their fullest and freshest. From early morning, everything is already in motion, with dough shaped, loaves baked and trays filled. It’s a scratch bakery in the truest sense, with everything made by hand from raw ingredients right here on site, every single day.
The backbone of the range is our delicious sourdough that’s joined by white tin loaves, crusty rolls and a changing cast of specialty varieties that reflect what is inspiring our talented bakers that week. Think Stilton and walnut soda bread, spelt and caraway seed sourdough or a hearty rye and ale loaf.
Beyond the bread, the patisserie section is a very pleasant distraction. Buttery croissants, cinnamon buns, scones laden with fruit, handmade tarts and triple chocolate brownies sit alongside seasonal treats that change throughout the year.
What makes our Bakery genuinely special is the people behind it. Every loaf, roll and pastry is the work of our skilled team who take real pride in what they produce. Wherever possible, they use locally sourced ingredients and never cut corners – a level of care and attention you can taste in every bite.
