Spend time over a long lunch in The Restaurant, catch up in The Café or fill your basket with the finest local produce from our Food Hall; every experience is shaped by the same commitment to quality, seasonality and care. We think food tastes better when you know where it comes from and we work hard every day to make sure you always do.
The Restaurant
Take your time and enjoy a dining experience shaped by the seasons. The Restaurant brings together the best of East Anglia, with inspired dishes that showcase fresh, local ingredients and simple, confident flavours. The farm-to-fork menu, served against the panoramic backdrop of the River Orwell, focuses on honest dishes made with seasonal ingredients sourced directly from our on-site Butchery, Bakery and local producers. With a variety of seating options, including cosy booths, intimate dining and spacious tables, we can cater for most occasions. We also serve Sunday lunch and Afternoon Tea – both well worth making time for. Booking is recommended.
The Café & The Hut
There’s always a reason to stop at The Café – for a perfectly made coffee and breakfast, a relaxed catch-up with friends over a delicious slice of cake, a light lunch with the children, or simply a moment to pause between shops. Open seven days a week, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, it’s dog friendly outside too. From April to November, The Hut takes up residence in our front paddock – a cheerful wooden kiosk serving local Italian-style soft ice-cream and luxury local gelato, perfect for cooling off on warmer days.
The Food Hall
The Food Hall remains the beating heart of everything we do. Stocked with the finest local and regional produce, every department demonstrates our careful sourcing, honest farming and deep-rooted passion for quality. From our traditional Butchery and artisan scratch Bakery to our delicious Deli counter, Greengrocer and Winery, every product on our shelves has earned its place. Look out for our pop-up fishmonger every Thursday and Saturday, who brings the freshest local catch right to our door. Many of our products are available to order online for collection or delivery, so the best of Suffolk is never far from reach.
