The menu is built around the finest local and regional produce – much of it travelling no further than our on-site Butchery and Bakery before it reaches your plate. Breakfast, lunch or Afternoon Tea are all served with the same warm welcome from our team.

For tables of more than eight guests, please call us to make your booking on 01473 786616.

If you’re booking for tables of 9 or more people, we will ask for your pre-orders in advance. If you’re a table of 15 and over we will ask you to pre-order from our Large Party Menu. Please email your choices, along with any dietary requirements, to [email protected]. Please be aware that we only take a maximum booking of 20 guests.

What a gem! Fantastic location, a great team looking after you in the restaurant and food fit for the gods. We drove an hour to get here from our campsite and were we mightily glad that we had done so!
Parking was effortless with a big plus being that the EV chargers on site are some of the best I’ve ever come across.
The grounds are expansive and the views magnificent!

Food was fairly priced, of great quality and exceedingly well prepared. We ordered 3 different mains and puddings with everything being beyond delicious. I’m almost certain that anything on the menu would have been mouth wateringly good.

This is an absolute MUST-DO on a holiday in Suffolk.

A lovely view to enjoy any meal. Breakfast was very good. Everything cooked well and presented nicely on the plate.
Service was on point and was greeted warmly.
A fair price for the food and sevice

Beautiful food with fantastic food. Not the kind of place the average person could afford to eat at on a regular basis – our bill for 1 adult with 2 kids was £47 – however, if you’re in the area at the food market then definitely visit for this stunning place to eat.

The only letdown were my ‘home made beans ‘ tasted overly burned, like they had caught on the bottom of the pan and then scraped through the pot. They were inedible.

Would definitely return to try more of the menu.

My wife and I visited for brunch, having booked a table.
We had no complaints as far as the food was concerned, but the service was lacking.
When our food order arrived, we’d still not received our coffees. No mention was made of them either.
When a waitress returned with some brown sauce for my vegan breakfast, I politely reminded her that we’d asked for hot drinks. They were then brought to us.
Our meals finished and coffees drunk, I watched a waitress take payment at a nearby table, but after some minutes, we left, pausing to pay at the station by the stairs.
There, when I explained the issue with the drinks, I was advised that there’d possibly been a delay with everyone’s. That, however, wasn’t the case. I’d watched our waitress head off for our drinks once we’d received our food, and tables all around us had received theirs.
Having had to challenge what we’d been told at the till, the staff member lent over and pressed ‘No Tip’ on the keypad, which saved me the bother.
Oh, and should you prefer a non-dairy alternative with your cappuccino, you’ll pay an additional 75p for the privilege should you opt for oat milk. My modest-sized cup of coffee, which I’m certain wouldn’t have arrived had I not asked a second time, cost me the princely sum of £4.95.
The view from the restaurant is wonderful, and the venue was nice and warm, but having paid the best part of £40 (£38.45) for a pancake stack, a vegan breakfast and two coffees, however, we expected much better service.
We’ve had issues at this venue before, but as it was my late mother’s birthday and we were looking to go somewhere rather nice, we returned after a year or two. We shall probably leave it a little longer before we go back next time, which is a shame.

Great breakfast with stunning views! Following a recent refurbishment, The Restaurant@Suffolk Food Hall looks amazing and with an open kitchen, so you are able to see food your being prepared. The food was delicious and came out very hot and the portion sizes were large, which pleasantly surprised me given some reviews. I would highly recommend The Restaurant@Suffolk Food Hall and you have the Suffolk Food Hall to wander around after with a great in house bakery and butchers.
