Our afternoon tea is served in the Restaurant (not the Cafe), with unrivalled panoramic views across the Orwell estuary. Tea consists of a selection of sandwiches, cakes, savouries and one of our fruit scones with cream and jam. Served with tea, or coffee if preferred, is included. We are able to cater for all dietary requirements, with 24 hours advanced notice.
Booking is essential and at least two days in advance, as teas are made from scratch specifically for each customer. Tea is served Wednesday to Sunday, with sitting times of 3pm or 3.15pm
The Restaurant will stay open until 5pm (approximately) for you to enjoy your afternoon tea experience.

Please note this is a standard gift card with the afternoon tea value loaded onto it. For example £22.95 for one, £45.90 for two etc.
Orders for gift cards are processed Monday to Friday. If ordered on our website over the weekend, your card will be posted (or available for collection) on the next normal working day. Gift Cards (both ones with variable amounts and afternoon tea) are also available anytime in the Food Hall and from The Restaurant @ Suffolk Food Hall if you would like to come in and collect from a till. Please note that eTickets or eVouchers are not available, currently.

An afternoon tea card entitles the redeemer to a full afternoon tea, for one, in The Restaurant @ Suffolk Food Hall. Our first serving of afternoon tea is at 3 pm and we have two further sittings at 3.15 pm and 3.30 pm Wednesday to Sunday - these are seating times and the Restaurant will remain open until 5 pm for you to enjoy your dining experience. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash, in whole or in part, and are valid for 24 months from the 'date of last activity' whether the initially loading, partial redemption or additional loading.
