Nordmann Fir
The Nordmann Fir is the most popular tree, 90% of our trees are Nordmann Firs because they look fantastic and have the awesome ability of holding their needles very well! We have 5ft – 8ft available (mostly 6fts which are the most popular size).
Norway Spruce
The Norway Spruce is a more traditional shaped tree, also less of a blue colour and more of a deep green.
Douglas Fir
The Douglas Fir is a unique tree, it smells like orange and will perfume the house. It’s a bushier tree than the other two and a slight variation on the green colour.
Caring for your tree
To get the best out of your tree give it plenty of water. The trees are cut just a couple of days before we receive them. Acclimatising your tree will keep it looking at its best. If you can contain your excitement, delay putting your tree straight into the house, ideally keep it in a bucket of water in a shed or garage first. Try to place the tree away from radiators, the cooler the setting the better.
Christmas trees are available now in the garden centre (from 15th November 2024 until stocks last). We will indeed net the tree for you and can help you to the car if you need it.
